St Mary’s Church uses personal data about natural persons for the purposes of general church administration, pastoral care and communication.

We recognise the importance of the correct and lawful treatment of personal data and recent regulations now require us to formalise how we handle all personal data and that we are compliant with the regulations.

All personal data, whether it is held on paper, on computer or other media, will be subject to the appropriate legal safeguards as specified in the Data Protection Act 1998 and the GDPR (2016). 1

One of the requirements will be that everybody will have to sign a consent form to confirm how their personal data is handled and how they would like to be contacted in the future. This can be altered at any time. Please see the consent form below.
