Children’s Church

Hello! Welcome to the Children’s Church page!

The Bible teaches that children matter to God in a "unique" way! Jesus spoke of the need to welcome children and, in so doing, we would welcome him and his father in heaven. Jesus was very pointed in his desire that we" let the children come to him" without hindrance and with open hands and hearts.

At St.Mary's we want to make children of all ages feel "welcome!" We know that the early impressions of Church are made, good or bad, through a child's first experiences at church.

Our goal is to make "church" a caring, comfortable, secure place for all children.

paintbrushes and craft

Our structured Children’s Church setup was disrupted due to covid-19 but has now resumed for children over 3 during 10:30am Morning Worship every week in the Choir Vestry at the back of the church.

Each session will include some teaching and crafts.

Until it’s back in place - Children are always welcomed at the 10:30 service, and toys and drawing materials are available, but parents will need to provide supervision.

Our Children’s Church leaders are Claire Ball and Melissa Watt.

creche

There is a creche area available for children under three at the 10:30am Morning Worship service every Sunday.
