We at St.Mary's are working with the young people in our community in a number of different ways. On Sunday morning we have 10'o'clock Club for 11 to 16 year olds and O-Zone for our older students.

10'o'clock Club: From 11 to 16 years: John Graham ( 0115 952 9692)

On Sunday evenings we have our Rock Solid Youth Club for 11 to 14 years, which combines fun and games with an opportunity to learn something about the Christian Faith, without being too stuffy!

On Sunday evenings for our older young people, we also have R2, which meets in Church as this is the coolest place to hang out!

YOUTH ACTION

Early in January, the church youth action threw a fashion show to raise money towards the people suffering of Aids and also to bring the community and the church together. The event brought all the young people from our different clubs together. They worked and organised it all. It was fantastic. The other aim of the fashion show was to share Jesus with all. At the show they raised about £260.00 which was.l be divided into 2 between churches in South Africa working among between working among people dying from Aids. That was FANTASTIC.
