St. Mary's New Site

St. Mary's are keen to grow closer to our community and to further use our resources to be a blessing to everyone that lives in our parish.

We have been running events for the younger members in our Parish e.g. Activity Week and Community Cinema, for a number of years and we are now looking to develop these further so that there is something for everyone.

Last year, we started Community Cinema every 3rd Tuesday evening for an older audience. These start at 7.30 pm to hopefully give everybody enough time to have something to eat before they come. Please go to our Cinema page for more information.

We have run a Community Quiz at the end of April and our third quiz will take place this year on the 27th April.Everybody enjoys them and we can of course recommend the food. We held a Men's Breakfast at the beginning of March along with a S[ports Quiz a week later.

We are also planning another Big Sing in the Autumn. Rumour has it that it might be "Sound of Music" but this could change!

Senior's Afternoon Tea
We have decided to start a monthly ‘afternoon tea and chat’ in the Family Centre for those people who live alone and would welcome
the opportunity to get out and meet other people.

The first one will take place on Saturday, April 13th 2013
